Our Classical Romanesque and Late Gothic vault
dates back to the 11th century. A team of prominent architects
has turned this place into a prime restaurant. The architects
approached the space solution with great sensitivity
and perceptiveness for detail and have therefore achieved
a harmonious accord between the Late Romanesque architecture
and the modern, but functional, solution of the premises.
Their work was accordingly rewarded in 1994 with an International
Interior Prize. The 8th century Early Romanesque wine cellar
that has been tastefully adapted into a sanctuary for wine
experts is the pride of our restaurant.
